Dustin Winterhalt
Dustin is a founder, owner and head coach of Triple Crown Athletic. In 2005, after 15 years of wrestling, he embarked on a transformative journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. Over a period of 5 years, Dustin's dedication led to an impressive amateur record of 8-2 and a professional record of 9-1 in the MMA arena. His athletic pursuits then shifted to CrossFit, where he distinguished himself as a four-time Crossfit Games regional qualifier and a two-time masters qualifier.
Despite a temporary hiatus from the mat, Dustin's passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling reignited, prompting him to channel all his efforts in that direction. In 2023, he achieved the prestigious milestone of receiving his black belt from Master Carlson Gracie Jr. His list of accomplishments and certifications is extensive, ranging from CrossFit Level 1 and USAW Level 1 to a remarkable 7-year tenure as an SRT team member at the Campbell County Detention Center. Additionally, he proudly graduated from Sealfit's Kokoro Class 12.
In tandem with his co-founder role, Dustin remains deeply dedicated to Triple Crown Athletic, coaching Crossfit, Functional Fitness, Sweat, Wrestling, Grappling, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a reflection of his relentless pursuit of excellence in the realms of fitness and martial arts.
Damian Tanenbaum
A proud father of three and grandfather, Damian Tanenbaum is an entrepreneur, executive consultant, actor, stunt actor and stunt fight coordinator with over three decades of experience in fitness and martial arts as well as over 60 film/tv credits to his name. He has trained with renowned coaches, elite athletes, and everyday warriors, mastering disciplines from stunt fighting, karate, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling to functional fitness, grappling, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu First degree Black Belt under Master Carlson Gracie Jr., Damian is also a CrossFit Level 2 trainer, a certified American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA)Functional Fitness Trainer and Kettlebell certified coach with competitive Crossfit, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Karate and Jiu-Jitsu experience.
A true globetrotter, Damian travels the world to learn, teach, and share his expertise at seminars, schools, film sets and international events—establishing himself as a global ambassador for fitness, martial arts and “stunt actors”.
Blending martial arts mastery with his acting and stunt career, Damian brings authenticity and precision to fight choreography and on-screen action. His unique skill set makes him a sought-after mentor, trainer, and creative collaborator.
Through Triple Crown Athletic, Damian and his team are building a complete Fitness Ecosystem for families, athletes, sports teams, and individuals of all levels. He has been instrumental in hosting world-class MMA, Jiu Jitsu, fitness, wrestling, and stunt actor camps—continuing his mission to inspire, teach, and grow communities through movement, discipline, and storytelling.

Josh Mcmullen
Josh McMullen, a co-owner and the head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach at Triple Crown Athletic, is a seasoned Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black belt with an impressive 16-year journey of honing his skills on the mat. His unwavering dedication led him through the intricacies of BJJ, culminating in the attainment of the highest level of expertise. Josh's commitment to this art is a true testament to his passion and unwavering perseverance in mastering the dynamic world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
In the realm of teaching, Josh goes beyond imparting techniques; he empowers others to embark on a transformative journey. Through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he guides individuals to discover their inner strength, build resilience, cultivate self-confidence, and chart their own path to greatness both on and off the mat. His dedication to the growth and empowerment of his students shines brightly in his role at Triple Crown Athletic.
Robert Dietz
Robert Dietz, a dedicated member of the Triple Crown Athletic team. Robert embarked on his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey back in 1998, and his relentless pursuit of excellence earned him his coveted black belt in 2009, under the guidance of Helio Soneca. In October 2023, he achieved the remarkable milestone of receiving his 4th-degree black belt from Soneca.
Robert's journey in BJJ has been fueled by a deep passion for the art and an unwavering commitment to its growth. He has transitioned into a teaching and coaching role to pass on the invaluable knowledge he has acquired over the years. Robert's mission is to support those who share his fervor for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and to give back to the art that has profoundly enriched his life.
In addition to his contributions to the world of BJJ, Robert brings over 30 years of professional experience in Corrections, further exemplifying his dedication to service and mentorship. Join us in celebrating Robert's remarkable journey and his dedication to the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Robert Griffin
Robert Griffin, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach at Triple Crown Athletic. Robert's journey in BJJ is marked by his prestigious black belt, which he earned under the legendary world champion Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro. His martial expertise is not confined to the mat; as a police officer with 20 years of service, Robert has applied his fitness, conditioning, and comprehensive training in real conflict situations, consistently demonstrating their effectiveness.
In addition to his black belt certification by IBJJF, Robert is a certified Gracie Combatives Instructor accredited by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council. His commitment extends to empowering others through self-defense, as he is also a Women's Self Defense Instructor. With a wealth of experience both in BJJ and law enforcement, Robert is a valuable asset to the Triple Crown Athletic team.
Brandon Boggs
Brandon Boggs, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach at Triple Crown Athletic. As a dedicated father of four girls, Brandon's passion for martial arts ignited when he watched Pride FC and early UFC events. His journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and boxing spans over fifteen years, with a significant portion of his Jiu Jitsu training taking place in Okinawa, Japan. It was in San Antonio that he earned his coveted black belt from Rodrigo Pinheiro BJJ.
Brandon's motivation to teach stems from his profound love for Jiu Jitsu. He is driven by the desire to see others succeed and find joy in the sport, free from any intimidation. With a wealth of experience and a genuine dedication to sharing his knowledge, Brandon is a valuable asset to the Triple Crown Athletic team, inspiring and guiding individuals on their Jiu Jitsu journey.
Shawn Snyder
Shawn is a martial arts enthusiast with a journey steeped in discipline and dedication. With roots tracing back to 1993 when he first delved into Taekwondo, Shawn's martial arts journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Serving in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2007, including deployments to Ramadi, Iraq, Shawn's commitment to service and self-improvement shines through. Transitioning to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Dutch style Kickboxing in 2011, Shawn continues to hone his skills and share his expertise with others. A seasoned competitor in various events such as ISKA and IFK, Shawn brings a wealth of experience to his kickboxing classes at Triple Crown Athletic. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned practitioner, Shawn welcomes members of all experience levels to join him in his quest for mastery.
